Life's too short not to have a little fun. These exercises will teach you something AND make you smile. Designed for the classroom and rebuilt here for the browser. Enjoy, and let me know how you got on.
Rich's Cup of Bad Ideas
Shake the cup, pull out a terrible product, sell it in sixty seconds. If you can sell this, you can sell anything.
02Feature or Benefit?
Don't sell the spinach. Thirty seconds of statements: about the product, or about their life? Harder than it sounds.
03The Discount Machine
Every discount is a promise to sell more. Two sliders show you exactly how much more. Bring it to the next pricing meeting.
04Objection Roulette
Spin the wheel, answer what the customer just said, then survive the pushback. Four decks, or bring your own objections.
05The Four Levers
Price, volume, cost of sales, overheads. Four sliders, one P&L, and the answer to which one really moves profit.
06Sales Call Bingo
A randomised card of things sellers say. Play it against a role-play or a recorded call. A line wins. Dignity loses.
Why games?
The best way to learn new technology is to play and that goes for selling too. A slide explains a principle; a game makes you feel it in about ninety seconds, usually just after you've got it wrong. Everything here is free, needs no login, and works on a phone in a workshop. If you want a bespoke one for your company or have any ideas just let me know.
Elsewhere: RENEWAL, the key account survival game, and KAM FM, the AI-made album about account management. Yes, really.
